PEBL Grand

The PEBL Grand is a modular and mobile architectural innovation developed by Hello Wood, a Budapest-based design and build studio founded on social awareness and community-driven values. The project introduces a new generation of compact, transportable architecture that blends technological innovation, sustainability, and sculptural aesthetics into one cohesive concept.

The PEBL Grand reimagines prefabricated architecture through its organic, pebble-inspired form that departs from conventional geometry. Its low-poly structure and fluid design language allow it to adapt effortlessly to both natural and urban environments — from forest retreats to city rooftops. Behind its futuristic shape lies Hello Wood’s proprietary CNC-manufactured 3D shell structure, featuring a CLT (Cross-Laminated Timber) load-bearing core with integrated insulation and waterproof layers. This patented system enables the cabins to be flat-packed, shipped worldwide, and assembled on-site within a single day, setting new standards for mobility and sustainability.

Despite its compact footprint, the PEBL Grand provides premium comfort, including a king-size bed, kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and panoramic infrared sauna. The design is fully customizable in both layout and exterior finish — from natural wood to aluminum or mirrored surfaces — and requires no concrete foundation thanks to its ground-screw base system, reducing site impact and allowing for easy relocation.

The cabin has already debuted in several international locations, including New York, where it was installed on a rooftop overlooking Manhattan. Its ability to move and adapt to diverse contexts demonstrates how architecture can respond to today’s needs for flexibility, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
