Ricordanza is a chair device that helps bereaved people recall the deceased and good memories in an immersive and interactive way.

This project focuses on the mental health and stability of the bereaved. The bereaved often express their nostalgia for the deceased and their desire to recall good memories, which can help them calm their sadness and get comfort and encouragement when they are at a low point.

The design is inspired by shells to create a private, safe, and comfortable space. By collecting records and information about the deceased, the AI system will build virtual avatars of the deceased. Users can communicate with them through voice control, so as to have a more interactive and immersive experience of recalling the deceased and good memories.

This project aims to break the taboo of death, integrate the trends and possibilities of future AI technology, and create an emotional interactive product designed for death.
