Ink Flow

The project involves the interior design of a new apartment, inspired by the homeowner's pursuit of solid colors and inner peace. With "ink" as the primary color tone, the designer integrates purity and nature into the dark space, creating a sense of internal calm. The design transcends mere superficial color impressions; instead, it utilizes variations in light and shadow along with dynamic lines to convey the rhythm and fluidity of life. Curved outlines redefine the layout, crafting a place where body and mind are unified. This pure home achieves the resident's vision of living in harmony with nature.

-"Ink" Aesthetics

The project extensively uses artistic paint to shape grayscale tones. Gray, as a neutral color bridging warm and cool tones, reveals various layers through natural light changes. When the lights are on, the gray surfaces exude a warm touch; when off, the space becomes subdued and introspective. The rustic texture of the artistic paint interwoven with light and shadow creates rich visual layers during the transition from light to dark. The space transforms throughout the day and night, perfectly embodying the theme of "ink."

-"Flow" Realm

The designer outlines the beauty of flowing light with curved lines, enriching spatial layers with a three-tiered "light bend." The first bend is in the ceiling, where a large light source follows the TV wall upward into the ceiling’s curved recess, creating vertical gradients of intensity. The second bend is between the wall and cabinetry, where irregular open shelves allow more light penetration and create more complex light and shadow interplays, enhancing depth. The third bend is between areas, using similar curved lines to extend the visual perspective and suggest movement, creating a dynamic aesthetic.
