Nestled in a quiet urban alley, this residence features a clearly defined vertical layout. The second floor serves as the communal hub for emotional connection. Take the staircase to the third floor, you will find a private sanctuary dedicated to rest and relaxation, free from interruption. A soft white palette anchors the entire space, reflecting the homeowner’s desire to stay from the city’s hustle and bustle and return to a life of simplicity and authenticity.

The design promotes a home environment founded on “less is more”, creating a warm, human-centered living space that feels simple yet inviting — free from excess and visual clutter. To avoid the monotony often associated with expansive light-toned surfaces, the design subtly introduces curved elements throughout the space. Throughout the ceiling transitions, cabinetry contours, and wall edges, gentle curves are meticulously applied — imbuing the space with a sense of flow and visual rhythm.

Within the light-toned backdrop, subtle textures of gray-hued finishes quietly evoke a sense of understated, humanistic warmth. The terrazzo bar table, a dining table with stone patterns, and mellow wooden cabinets create a rich yet tranquil visual composition. Negative space allows the eye to rest and offers the residents a quiet retreat where inner peace and balance can be found.

An open-plan layout seamlessly connects the living room and dining room. In the living room, a light beige sofa paired with a window-side daybed expands the sense of space while welcoming abundant natural light — crafting a serene, light-filled scene. The dining table and kitchen island are accented with brass pendant lamps. The warm glow adds a touch of ritual and intimacy. When simplicity meets sophistication, true elegance emerges. In this tranquil abode, a subtle richness of detail unfolds, shaping a refined living environment.
