Located in Zhongshan District, Taipei, Taiwan, this project exudes a robust character and immersive energy. Guests are welcomed by a striking “Meat Arch” entrance, instantly creating an iconic photo moment. Inside, a folded and layered design accentuates the transition from exterior to interior. Guests pass through a corridor defined by stacked timber blocks, arriving first at the bold self-service bar. Above, interlocking suspended ceiling modules evoke the image of sliced meat, and the brand’s core material palette—wood and metal—reinforces the spatial depth and visual identity.

In the dining area, staggered seating and angular partitions create rhythms and visual intrigue. The space features focal points such as a dramatic “Meat Volcano” wall, stylized illustrations of Four Mythical Beasts, abstract mountain-inspired frames, and a bold character-wall spelling out “meat.” These elements immerse diners in an intense and passionate atmosphere, heightening the joy of sharing hearty meals.

To address the venue’s varied ceiling heights, the design transforms this constraint into a strength. A prominent feature wall anchors the highest point, while custom grid screens of varying heights extend gracefully into lower zones. This gradual transition softens the contrast between high and low areas, fostering a cohesive and flowing visual experience across the entire space.

The warm, reddish wood grain forms the material foundation, complemented by black iron frameworks and accents of the brand’s signature gold. Meanwhile, light reflects off the gold metal surfaces, adding a subtle shimmer that enriches the sensory detail in the dining space.

Sustainability is integrated through a modular approach. Recurring elements are standardized for efficient production, reducing waste and simplifying logistics. Cleverly arranged irregular divisions optimize material use while enhancing the design’s expressive quality, demonstrating that thoughtful execution can unite aesthetic impact with environmental responsibility.
