AMLI MidTown Miami, a three-block-long housing development in downtown Miami, transforms a former railyard into a verdant, multi-layered urban sanctuary. Spanning 6.5 acres, the LEED-Platinum-certified complex integrates nearly four acres of lush landscape across three levels, fostering a connection with nature.
Water is central to AMLI MidTown’s sensory experience, introducing movement, cooling effects, and auditory relief throughout the development. Flowing water buffers city noise, creating a tranquil transition into residential spaces, while reflective pools enhance the atmosphere, offering visual serenity and passive cooling. Cascading fountains animate the skyline, softening the contrast between built environments and nature, mitigating heat, and enveloping residents in a soothing soundscape. Spread across the ground level and three elevated amenity decks, these water features create a seamless vertical interplay, weaving through the landscape to shape the microclimate, improve air quality, and cultivate a restorative urban sanctuary.
