Situated within the cultural living circle of the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, this residence serves as a holiday retreat for a family of six. The design adopts gentle light tones, using curved lines, fine matte spray finishes, and cross-axis linear lighting to connect the foyer, living room, and dining area, shaping a smooth and luminous spatial rhythm.

The enlarged foyer accommodates the lively bustle of family gatherings. The open layout of the living and dining areas connects emotions and sightlines, allowing the social area to reveal airy layers as light shifts throughout the day.

The TV wall is formed as a seamless curved surface, layered with matte spray techniques to achieve a soft mist-like texture that extends toward the ceiling. Dark wood veneer and light-toned system cabinetry are subtly integrated, keeping storage hidden and the atmosphere serene. Under natural daylight and restrained artificial lighting, the space is gentle by day and calm at night—a place where the stories of home unfold slowly through arcs and shadows, forming a luminous haven for rest, breath, and reunion.
