Situated in Kaohsiung’s coastal district, the 105.7 square meters residence centers on “modern extension.” Confronted with a two-meter-high structural beam, the designer employed mirror wrapping to refract light and dissolve compression. Linear elements extend from ceiling to TV wall and toward the entry, amplifying visual depth.

Prussian blue defines the spatial character, spreading from dining wall to arched doorway. It becomes both focal point and embodiment of the homeowner’s composed personality. The entry partition of metal grille and glass balances concealment and permeability, resolving the awkward sightline toward the kitchen while allowing daylight to flow.

Through reflective light and refined lines, the project restores breathability and calm rhythm within limited square footage, forming a quiet yet distinctive home.
