A landmark high-rise condominium will be built in the Shonan area.
It will have a wide view from the highest point in the area and will be a place where one can feel the sea, wind, and light with all five senses and truly become one with Shonan.
The composition looking east from the sandy beach of Shichirigahama is a wonderful contrast between Enoshima and Mt. Fuji, and has been painted since ancient times by various ukiyoe artists known as masters. This scene is known not only in Japan but all over the world as a representative landscape of Fujisawa.
In order to coexist with the climate of the region, form details, materials and color choices overlap one another to create a design that seems to breathe like a plant. The white exterior walls and eaves lines, bathed in Shonan light and wind, cut beautifully through the sky, and the dignified appearance of the building becomes one with its surroundings, creating a space where residents can always be aware of their connection to the land. In addition, the natural materials used throughout the building will not only be visually appealing, but will also sublimate the space into a place where you can physically feel the climate of this region. The space expresses a sense of serenity in accordance with the gently flowing time axis of the area, and the smooth curves of the entrance and the spiral staircase connecting the upper and lower floors will serve as a symbolic sculpture and become a landmark in Shonan that will be loved by people forever.
We proposed this unique space with the hope that it will enrich the lives of people living in this attractive area and make the Shonan area a more vibrant place.
