About The Entry

This artwork combines medical infusion devices with plant growth structures, forming a suspended, continuously operating visual system. The transparent liquid bags, tubes, and green plants create a strong contrast, constructing a visual metaphor of "life being sustained". By transforming medical equipment into a part of the ecosystem and introducing a morphological logic similar to callus formation, the work expands "repair" from a single medical action to a cross-species growth process.

Plant roots penetrate and grow into the interior of medical devices, forming a structure similar to the "callus formation" during bone healing, creating a direct visual correspondence between natural growth and body repair. The systematic integration of real plants and medical devices endows the devices with both symbolic significance and a certain degree of functional logic (such as water supply and maintaining life status). By observing the relationships of "flow", "maintenance", and "dependency" within the device, the audience can intuitively understand the interaction between the human body and nature.
