Faced with the dual tension between "neon urban vitality" and "sterile technological efficiency" on the site of the Daxing Xihongmen Project in Beijing, the design strategy avoids superficial visual compromise, and instead focuses on establishing a dialectical balance. By leveraging architectural vocabulary to create dynamic tension between radicality and gentleness, artificiality and nature, the design fosters integration between technological rationality and down-to-earth urban warmth, reshaping contemporary spatial rhythm through the interplay of fast-paced development and slow daily life.

Centered on a "tech-style futuristic aesthetic", the design explores the localized interpretation of futuristic architecture. The cantilevered structure of the mega canopy defies gravitational anchoring and elevates the main building mass, creating permeable grey spaces at the ground level. Form cutting and folded facade design simulate the potential energy of imminent takeoff. Rejecting rigid right-angle transitions and adopting continuous flowing curvature, the design integrates the roof and elevation as a whole, shaping a "tech-inspired landform" that naturally rises from the ground. Parametric gradient windows and folded panels mimic the flow of data, turning the building into a physical manifestation of the digital realm. Adopting a dual-skin strategy of "inner core plus outer shell", the minimalist glass volume inside interweaves and staggers with the semi-transparent hollow outer enclosure, strengthening the futuristic sheltering aura reminiscent of a space capsule.

Futuristic forms do not contradict ecological concepts; on the contrary, design vocabulary is harnessed to realize passive energy conservation. The large cantilever and parametric folded facades serve as a permanent sunshade system to effectively regulate solar radiation. The full-height atrium utilizes the chimney effect to generate thermal ventilation and reduce air conditioning consumption. Structural logic is transformed into expressive architectural language, with exposed diagonal braces and exoskeleton frames functioning as both load-bearing components and visual icons. The external exoskeleton support minimizes internal wall construction and material consumption, while large-span column-free spaces deliver high spatial adaptability and extend the building’s entire life cycle. Modular metal panels and prefabricated components are industrially manufactured to reduce on-site dust emission and construction waste, making futuristic architectural forms a carrier for low-carbon construction.
