Micro and Macro

This case aims to create a durable home environment for the owner and his family, and create a warm living space that can accompany the child's growth. This case is 25 square meters, living members of a family of four, and the owner of the couple relocated due to work, is expected to accompany the growth of two daughters here. The original house is equipped with four rooms. Because the children are young, they do not meet the needs of use, and the moving line is messy, resulting in the limited use of space. The owner hopes to enlarge the efficiency of space use, deal with Feng Shui issues, and create a durable space that can be used conveniently and comfortably by the family after living in it.

Starting from the facade, the designer presents the six sides of the space in an all-round way, and the sight converges naturally at the junction of each wall. When viewed individually, all sides flow smoothly, and when viewed as a whole, they are in harmony with each other. For example, the entrance screen extends to the beam and column of TV wall along the expanded arc shape, which not only cleverly weakens the abruptness of beam and column, but also makes the space more harmonious and consistent, and broadens the proportion of original facade.



In addition, the installed screen can block the distance from kitchen and avoid opening the door to see stove. Starting from the integrity of the facade, it creates a sense of openness and extension, and then uses the beams and columns of the ceiling to naturally divide the space field, and decorates the edges and angles of the beams and columns through the arc to resolve the geomantic problem again, making the vision more warm and soft.
