About The Entry

This project focuses on adjusting the layout design of a thirty-year-old house. Considering that the original layout suits daily life’s needs in general, we decide to maintain the structure unchanged.

Through fine-tuning the layout and innovative spatial planning, we create a trendy and functional living space to satisfy young residents. An environment-friendly house perfectly realizes a functional life-style balance.

The design inspiration comes from "preserving the essence of the layout while integrating modern lifestyles." Without making major changes to the original layout, the space is redefined with new meaning.

Utilizing design to address the challenges of a narrow layout and inefficient space usage in an old house, this project creates an open and interactive living environment for the homeowner, embodying the essence of a welcoming venue for frequent gatherings. Through a refined modern design concept and a neutral palette ranging from deep gray to light gray, the space becomes a blank canvas, allowing for flexible exhibition changes and showcasing infinite possibilities and a diverse aesthetic of living.
