In Chopping Mode, a custom PCB powers a carbon filter to disperse syn-Propanethial-S-oxide gas, ensuring tear-free slicing with a vibrant blue LED indicator. Preserve Mode intermittently cycles a fan to absorb ethylene gas in fruit bowls, reducing spoilage and saving households money, illuminated by a yellow LED. Inspired by Dr. Matthew Hudson’s desire to cook joyfully with his daughters, its onion-shaped, matte-finished exterior in vibrant palettes mimics authentic onion varieties, serving as a conversation-sparking kitchen centerpiece.
