"Veiled Light, Flowing Years" is a holiday home for a family of four, located on a high floor in Taichung’s Beitun District. Rooted in modernist principles, the design layers low-saturation colors with artistic finishes, glass, and metal, to craft a refined and tranquil atmosphere. The TV wall integrates lighting and structure for a clear focal point, while a dual-sided cabinet connects the entry and workspace, forming a fluid, open layout.

The project adopts green renovation standards and passed third-party SGS indoor air quality testing. By preserving some original materials and minimizing waste, it reflects both environmental and emotional sensitivity. Through careful use of light and materiality, the space becomes a rhythmic environment—individual yet connected—where light is not just aesthetic, but emotional. The result is a home that nurtures stillness and shared moments alike.
