Infused with greenery, meant to act as a daily companion, the design adopts a modern minimalist approach that returns to the essence of space. Through the clever use of grilles, glass, and ironwork, the layout establishes a spatial vocabulary of “division without disconnection,” blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors, public and private realms. This interplay of solidity and openness reveals the richness of spatial depth, allowing a seamless integration of interior and exterior landscapes, and embodying a harmonious coexistence between human and nature.
In the expansive, 6-meter-high open-plan living room, a vertically integrated linear air conditioning system enhances airflow while remaining discreetly tucked into the architecture for ease of maintenance. A wind-driven ventilator at the staircase utilizes the chimney effect to encourage vertical air circulation, effectively mitigating heat buildup and ensuring a comfortable temperature throughout the home.
At the entryway foyer, faux-wood grilles were installed to provide resistance to moisture, staining, and fire—ideal for the humid local climate—while also enhancing visual depth and spatial layering. In the master bedroom, the headboard wall features maple wood grilles, lending a warm, refined ambiance. The secondary bedroom adopts a slate-gray industrial-style grille panel to echo a more contemporary tone. Steel-aluminum structural elements and laminated glass are incorporated to enhance both the safety and aesthetic appeal of the architecture and interior space.
