This project envisions the creation of a vibrant multifunctional urban center, seamlessly integrating religious services, educational outreach, cultural arts, and public gatherings. Its primary purpose transcends the traditional role of merely hosting religious ceremonies; instead, it embodies the open and engaged spirit of Humanistic Buddhism. By doing so, it establishes a dynamic spiritual and cultural platform that intricately weaves into the fabric of daily city life. Moreover, the design thoughtfully employs spatial stratification and multifunctional integration to navigate the complexities and swift rhythms of high-density urban living. This innovative approach facilitates the orderly coexistence of diverse public activities within a cohesive spatial framework. As a result, the center not only creates a welcoming spiritual domain for all citizens but also ensures lasting value and relevance for generations to come.

This multi-functional religious complex masterfully intertwines assembly spaces, serving as vital connections between public activities and the spiritual core. By responding to diverse gathering needs, it employs a flexible and adaptable design that seamlessly transforms to accommodate various events. The conference center showcases a thoughtfully tiered, fan-shaped layout that not only ensures clear sightlines but also optimizes acoustic performance, creating an engaging environment for participants. An all-black open ceiling artfully integrates the mechanical and electrical systems, while light-gray acoustic wall panels and elegant wooden seating enhance visual focus, fostering a steady rhythm essential for assemblies.

Furthermore, the meditation hall captivates with its generous rectangular proportions and a minimalist aesthetic that invites introspection. Warm wood materials and wall-washing lighting, combined with carefully preserved negative space, significantly reduce visual distractions, thus deepening the meditative experience. The gently undulating ceiling diffuses light softly, creating an ethereal atmosphere, while the continuous flooring supports both mindful movement and seated meditation, encouraging a profound connection to the space.

In addition, the banquet hall features a symmetrical layout paired with a linear louvered ceiling that skillfully guides visual orientation. The thoughtful zoning of space, derived from the transformation of structural columns, enhances flexibility, making it ideal for large-scale banquets and social gatherings. As a result, the banquet hall can effortlessly accommodate a wide range of communal events.
