The project draws its inspiration from the concept of an "Urban Facet," transforming a residence already blessed with excellent natural lighting into a living settlement where one can freely pause, read, cook, and embrace solitude. Rather than cluttering the space with intricate geometries, the designer employs pure color blocks and clean lines, maintaining a sense of order within a grand, open scale. The study, the kitchen island, and the master bedroom are all positioned to welcome daylight, allowing light to serve not merely as illumination, but as a soft boundary that demarcates different chapters of daily life.
Looking inward from the entrance, black-framed glass structures articulate visual depth through a combination of sleek curves and straight lines, resembling a quiet vignette captured from everyday urban life. The interior layers shades of white, natural wood textures, and black linear accents to build a contemporary aesthetic, punctuated by understated linear lighting that echoes the shifting shadows outside the windows. The expansive scale allows the inhabitant to fluidly shift between states of mind: working at the desk bathed in daylight, engaging in culinary moments by the kitchen island, or retreating to the bedroom to let the urban bustle fade away. Every vantage point stands alone as a scenic view, yet each corner remains visually connected, transforming the home into a micro-settlement woven from light, color fields, and the rhythm of life.
