Joint Development Project at Y15 Station

Kaohsiung previously established a complete industrial system centered on petrochemical and steel industries. Amid global supply chain restructuring and rapid technological advancement, the city must transition from an industrial base to a technology cluster and corporate headquarters hub.

Since 2021, the city government has promoted the Asia New Bay Area Smart Technology Innovation Park, focusing on computing power, application capability, and human capital, attracting semiconductor and forward-looking industries through investment initiatives and MRT joint development mechanisms.

The Y15 Joint Development Project serves as a key implementation node in the Asia New Bay Area 2.0 phase. The 1.1-hectare site includes two high-rise office towers and integrated connectivity systems, combining R&D, operations, and living support spaces.

The project not only addresses industrial upgrading but symbolizes Kaohsiung’s pivotal shift from a heavy industrial city to a smart technology platform.
