THE KAPSULE

The house is conceived as a concave dome-shaped structure—an architectural piece that blends original materials with a new modernist aesthetic proposed in this project. The curved form envelops visitors in an immersive experience where the complete openness of all rooms is conceptualized, providing the space with a dual sense of visual amplitude.

Access to the exterior is achieved through two large curved windows with a pivot opening system, allowing in the cherished natural light.

As this light filters through the surfaces, it enhances the contrast between soft whites and deep blacks, creating a minimalist and balanced atmosphere.

The color palette explores the full range of soft whites and blacks in various textures: soft white appears in polished concrete walls, reclaimed stone cladding, and new surfaces that gently reflect the light, while black is introduced through materials such as charred wood, metal, and stone. The furniture is minimalist and strategically placed, following the curves of the structure and creating interaction points between the two tones.

This interplay of light and shadow becomes more dramatic during twilight hours, when indirect lighting highlights black surfaces with metallic reflections, giving the impression that light and dark spaces blend into a single volume.

A chromatic contrast where emptiness is shadow and light is silence.
